Find Your Perfect Partner: A Horse You Can Trust, A Bond That Lasts

At North Gait, I believe that finding the right horse is about more than just price, color, or competitive ability. It’s about developing a true partnership based on trust, understanding, and mutual respect. My goal is to help horses transition into homes where they are valued for their unique qualities and where they can thrive for years to come.

Horses With a Purpose: Some of the horses I offer have faced difficult transitions in life. Whether they lacked the right education or found themselves in need of a new home, I’ve worked to give them the tools they need to succeed in a partnership with you. I ensure they are well-educated, well-adjusted, and ready to thrive in a loving, forever home.

Personalized Matches: I take the time to understand each buyer’s goals, experience, and expectations. My mission is to match you with a horse that fits your unique needs, not just based on surface-level criteria. It’s about creating a lasting bond, not just a transaction.

Caring for the Horse, Caring for You: When you buy from me, you’re not just gaining a horse – you’re gaining a resource. I’m here to offer guidance, education, and support to ensure your new horse is a lifelong partner in your journey, whether you’re just starting out or you’re an experienced rider.

If you're looking for a horse to be your companion, not just your ride, and you're ready to invest in a lasting partnership, I would love to help you make the right choice. Contact me today to learn more about our available horses or to discuss how I can help you find the right fit!

Tango

Tango is a 3-year-old grade gaited Standardbred cross gelding owned by North Gait Horse Co. He is one of three nurse mare foals we adopted in 2021. Tango was raised on our farm, and started through my Youth Training Project Program.

He is expected to mature around 15.2 hands. Tango has a solid foundation, understands moving off leg, is responsive to bit cues, and displays excellent ground manners. He stands tied, trailers well, and has been exposed to clippers and bathing.

Tango is a personable gelding who enjoys human interaction and grooming. He is best suited for a trail or versatility home with an owner who values a deeper connection and learning experience with their horse beyond just riding. Tango thrives with an owner who can dedicate ample time to building a strong partnership—not just a weekend warrior.

If you’re looking for a willing and personable partner, Tango could be your perfect match!

Seven

Seven is a 3-year-old grade TWH (Tennessee Walking Horse) cross gelding owned by North Gait Horse Co. He is one of three nurse mare foals we adopted in 2021. Seven was raised on our farm, and started through my Youth Training Project Program.

He has a strong foundation. He understands moving off the leg, is responsive to bit cues, and has good ground manners. Seven stands tied, trailers well, and has been exposed to clippers and bathing.

This personable gelding enjoys attention, grooming, and thrives on pleasing his handler. Seven is nicely gaited and was started under saddle this summer, showing great promise as a trail or versatility horse. He has also performed well with obstacle work, demonstrating his willingness and adaptability.

Seven would do best with an owner who values learning and enjoys exploring all aspects of horsemanship—not just riding. He’s ready to become a loyal and hardworking partner for someone who can match his dedication and energy.

What Others Have To Say

"Can't thank Abbie enough! We wanted to find a wonderful home for my husbands horse who had been a pasture ornament for the last 2 years. Abbie put a refresher on her for us, and found her the perfect home!"
