Amenities

We are located just west of Pequot Lakes, MN, and offer exceptional facilities for riders and horses alike. Our heated barn features a wash stall for grooming and tacking, a heated tack room with private tack lockers, and a cozy heated lounge overlooking the indoor arena with attached stalls.

Outdoors, we provide a round pen, a spacious riding arena, and 60 acres of wooded trails for exploration. During the winter months, we maintain a 1/4-mile fenced oval track, perfect for skijoring. All pastures are equipped with reliable automatic Ritchie watering systems to ensure the comfort and care of every horse.

Boarding

At North Gait, we prioritize the health and social well-being of every horse in our care. We offer group pasture board, where your horse will thrive in a safe and social environment. As we live on-site, we are able to provide round-the-clock care and attention.

We offer a range of services, including blanketing, medication administration, wound management and more. Our facility is regularly visited by four skilled farriers and we have a strong working relationship with local veterinarians to ensure top-notch care. We also offer additional training, lessons, and equine bodywork to support you and your horse’s development.

Our barn is more than just a place—it's a family. We foster a supportive and welcoming atmosphere where everyone, is encouraged to grow together on their horsemanship journey.

Short Term Stays

We offer short-term accommodations for horse owners passing through on a trip, or riders needing a weekend spot to board their horse while enjoying time at their cabin on the lake.

Our facility is just 30 minutes from popular riding destinations such as The Foothills Horse Camp, and Pillsbury State Forest.

Book a stall or paddock for just $15 per night. Owner is responsible for cleaning stall/paddock and all feeding unless otherwise requested. Please bring your own water buckets and hay nets.
